A foundation that
doesn’t break the
land it sits on.

Conventional construction is the largest single source of global carbon emissions. Foundations alone account for a meaningful share, mostly through cement, excavation diesel, and curing-related material waste. PEN cuts most of that out by design. The result is a measured, GRIHA-certified reduction in lifecycle impact, not a marketing claim.

The figures above come from the GRIHA Life Cycle Assessment commissioned and accepted on the PEN Foundation system. They are reported on a per-unit basis, against a like-for-like conventional foundation reference case, and rolled up over the deployed portfolio.

— Where the savings come from

Five process changes.
One system result.

01

Zero Excavation

No diesel excavator hours. No spoil hauling. Soil profile and microbiome stay intact.

02

Dry Process

No on-site concrete mixing, no curing water, no slurry runoff into groundwater or watershed.

03

Less Cement

A precast M50 node uses a fraction of the cement of a conventional pad and column footing. Cement is the single largest emissions input in foundations.

04

Factory Throughput

Nodes are produced under controlled conditions with minimised waste, minimised wastage, and consistent material accounting.

05

Reversibility

PEN units can be removed at end of life without permanent site damage. The land returns to use.

06

Forest & Slope Compatibility

Suitable for sites where excavation is not permitted, ecologically destructive, or technically uneconomic.

— Carbon Credit Roadmap

Verified credits
are coming.

We are pursuing the VCS international route as the primary path to verified carbon credits, with first credits expected in the 12 to 18 month window. The India CCTS domestic route is on a longer timeline and is currently blocked by methodology development for the construction sector. Carbon credit ownership follows project developer registration; environmental attribute retention is now part of every C-DISC sales agreement.
